Good news for Iphone 4S users this morning
Last night MuscleNerd, one of the key members of Dev Team(the developers behind most of the public utilities and software unlocks), tweeted out a picture (embedded above) that suggests they’re close to completing the first software unlock for the iPhone 4S.

Essentially this means that they’re wrapping up the creation of the unlock – however, there’s no current ETA. Additionally, because this will be a software unlock, the device (in this case an !important iPhone 4S) would have to be Jailbroken prior to unlocking it. And that’s good news for Jailbreakers if The iPhone Dev Team is planning on releasing an unlock in the near future. Just remember to stay tuned for more updates on the status of the iPhone 4S unlock, as well as updates for the status of the 5.x untethered Jailbreak!
