Backing up Notes

Hey guys I had my iPhone 4 exchanged via warranty today and I synced everything before hand now that I restored it...my notes are blank..anyone know if it's a special option that I should select or should be automatic ?

try and restore from backup again, i was under the impression notes are part of a normal backup

That's what I thought too. Oh well...ended up being it was backed up via email somehow..but only 1 of the 5 notes. The rest I had backed up thank goodness somewhere else. Eh, maybe it was an iTunes fluke...

All your notes should be saved during the backup...
