Back up w/ iTunes quick ???

Plug in 4s to backup w/ iTunes. After every sync my apps icons are present on 4s but will not open and I have to go into the app store and reload em all. What do I have set wrong. I know this is operator error. Absolutely no other issues with my 4s. Thanks for assistance in advance.

This will not help you but I am an having the same thing happen. What my plan is to backup my iPod Touch to iTunes. In which it did but verrrry fast like yours did. Then restore my news iPhone 4s with all the applications and songs that are on the iPod.

In other words clone the iPod to the iPhone.

Also the songs were not present on the iPhone.

I did figure out this thing about transferring purchases. I am hoping this is the answer that I needed.
