Apps not updating

Hey everyone. I have a problem with two of my apps. I got the update message and updated all. Two days later they are still sitting there at the starting phase of updating and underneath the app says waiting. Any one have any suggestions on how to rectify?

Delete them....download them again.

That's just it...they DON'T delete. The X's don't appear above when in delete mode.

Can you find the apps in Settings> General> Usage?

Of you an find the app in there...you can delete the app from there too.

Yup. ................
