Apple has removed the ATV 3 from their website.
If you are interested in one, time is running out.
They do sell refurbished models and the Canadian online Apple Store currently has some in stock.
The ATV is still the only device that can supply AirPlay video. Considering the price of the ATV3, I find it good value for that reason alone.
Someone on another forum wanted to know how he could effectively turn his iPhone into a computer, by which he meant having a full sized display. AirPlay mirroring and Apple BT keyboard is the answer to that one, and requires an ATV
A little over 3 years since they released them. Was time to move on, the tech is dated.
That's true. Apple need to concentrate on the 4th gen. I was quite surprised that the ATV3 survived the introduction of the 4. Maybe Apple were just shifting old stock.
