Apple is known to be a company that respects the environment and also historic landmarks and this fresh news proves this one more time. Julia Love with the San Jose Mercury News publication says Apple will preserve the historic Glendenning Barn on the site of its futuristic ‘spaceship’ campus, which is set to be unveiled sometime during 2016:
The Glendenning Barn was allegedly built in 1916, which is exactly 100 years before construction on Apple’s new facility should be completed. The old barn was carefully disassembled to ensure that it wouldn’t be damaged and that it will be possible to rebuild the barn exactly the way it was once construction is finished.
It seems that Apple plans to use the barn to store sporting equipment, as well as equipment used for maintaining the facility’s landscaping.
