All orders placed before the deadline should arrive just in time for Christmas, with estimate arrival times shown at checkout. Normally, free next-day delivery is limited to iPhones. However due to the holidays, Apple wants to make sure everyone gets their gifts on time.
It's good to note that folks are still able to choose in-store pickup as an option. This gives those living close to an Apple Store a bit more room to breathe.
