Apple newbie

Bought an iPad for the wife and now looking at an iPhone so that she can Bluetooth direct to the iPad, Probably get her a iPhone 3S as she is not really into computers etc.

Take the plunge and get her the iPhone 4 or 4s but definitely NOT the 3G. At this stage in the game, it's a waste to get something so antiquated.

As nice as the 4 or 4S are, I think they are over the top with functions as we are both retired. She is big into taking photos to put onto her iPad and it seems that the only phones that will Bluetooth to her phone are iPhones. Pity we are so restricted on choice of phones and unfortunately having only one network that works in our area, we are again restricted on choice of tariffs.
