You do realize that these are guesses or wishes. We won't really know for for about 8 months.

Who cares about 3rd party cases! They'll learn to create cases that can adapt to the iPhone 7. It would be ridiculous to limit the design of the iPhone 7 for that reason.
Plus people were saying similar things about the curved edges on the iPhone 6, but we learned to adapt.
