Anyone know how to delete uninstalled apps

I have downloaded 2 GPS applications and have not installed them, (which I'm happy about because I didn't need them, but do you guys know how to delete it know?).

delete them from phone or from itunes ???from phone put your finger on icon hold it until it shakes and a X appears press delete from itunes just go into your apps and delete
