Phone Arena reports on an Android App in the Google Play Store that reveals that at the very least 10 million Android users have switched over to iPhone in the past 2 years.

The app, Move to iOS, helps Android users to easily make the transition from Android phone to iPhone, moving content and apps across. The app was actually created by Apple to encourage users to switch platforms, and it seems to be working.

In October 2015 1 million to 5 million Android users had installed the app on their phones. Now, one year later, 10 million to 50 million Android users have downloaded the app. Of course, there’s no way of knowing that everyone who installed the app actually went ahead and made the switch to iPhone, or where the actual number of iPhone installations comes on the range of installed users, but even using the minimum point on the scale, this would appear to show that at least 10 million Android users have switched over to iPhone from Android in the past year.
