B bear7962 Well-Known Member Joined Feb 8, 2013 Messages 2,015 Reaction score 1,455 Dec 26, 2014 #2 Sounds counter-intuitive to me. If your signal is weak the iphone keeps searching for a signal, draining the battery. Unless you mean placing it in airplane mode so it doesn't have signal.
