As millions are already waiting for their Apple Watch to arrive, developers of popular apps are making sure that their apps are optimized for the smaller screen. So if you're one of the future Apple Watch owners, you should know that both the 1Password and Workflow iOS apps have been updated with support for the device.

1Password's Apple Watch extension provides quick access to passwords, combinations, and other saved information. You will have to enable these features in the iOS software's settings and these will be available only to users who pay $10 for the Pro upgrade.

The app's Message Center has been updated, as well, and it now includes a "Mark as Read" button and an option to disable the badge icon.

On the other hand, Workflow, the popular automation tool, will allow Apple Watch users to combine different apps and actions for quick execution later. Here are some of the updates that the app has received:
  • Added eight new actions, including Get Playlist, Post to Slack, Get Name of Emoji, and Generate QR Code
  • Added AIFF option to Encode Media
  • Added support for the Transit app to Show Directions
  • Added sentence case to Change Case
  • Improved Dropbox actions
  • Fixed issues with Make Video from GIF
  • Fixed making PDFs from files in Dropbox
  • Fixed an issue with opening multiple URLs from the action extension on iOS 8.2+
