Yep I'm thinking I need to keep it in a case as much as I love it without one. Also I'm on Apple's upgrade programme and I'm worried that if it's covered in scratches I won't be able to swap it after 12 months?

I had both they are EXACTLY the same size apart from the rear camera module design. Trust me I spent a long time comparing them before I sold my 6s Plus.

I went from a 6s Plus to 7 Plus and slapped a Apple silicone case and tempered glass screen protector. The glass protector feels great and doesn't impair the screen in any way, plus no air bubbles or peeling like those pesky plastic flimsy protectors.
