Hello! :) The seller said it was T-mobile but I get no signal and looks like they reset it to basics or something?

Hello guys , I've recently purchased a new i-phone 4 (2nd hand) off ebay its brand new but I put my T-mobile sim in and it wont let me make calls?? Any body know what to do? Cheers Rimmdogg
