Hi This might seem a dumb question but do you have a bumper or similar on the phone ? , my Iphone is from Orange and until I fitted the bumper I had the same problem as you - problem seemed to be a weak signal and a touch of the "death grip" works fine now. S

My wife runs a Ipad 2 and my son has a Ipod touch - try to get a play with the Ipad when i get a chance !. Beautiful design although slightly restrictive but Dropbox works well on it.
