Have moved room in the house I share.
Wifi is a problem on my IP4. It is very variable and mostly a problem.

Where as my note book WiFi connection remains the same.

How far is your iPhone away from your router? Are other members of you family with iPhones or other are capable of picking up wifi signals where your iPhone losing it?

I guess about 25 feet through 2 walls and a bit of open space it's an L shape
No one else has a I phone.

But my note book picks it up a further 10 feet away

Your notebook most likely has a stronger wifi than the iPhone has. Only way to truly test is to find someone with iPhone or iPod touch and see how that works.

Thanks for the I have been looking at wifi boosters.
So maybe that's the answer if anyone can recommend one for the UK which is trouble free to set up that would be great.

Meant to add can you improve the IPhone I saw signal boosters can you get the same for wifi

Try moving the router closer to your room if possible. Try changing the channel on the router and make sure there is no wireless phones around it. What router do you have is it wireless n.
