Is the battery cycle count an estimate based on battery condition and age or does it commence from when you install the app.?
Looks like a great app.

The app counts the charge cycles and partial charge cycles to arrive at the total cycle count. Since it can't count any charge cycles from before it was installed, it would be best to install the app as soon as you activate a new iPhone.

It feels like it use info from the phone because I recently installed it on my 1,5 year old iPhone 6.
It shows more cycles than I have done in less than two weeks I had this app.
