Verizon iPhone Outright Purchasing?

I started thinking about the new pricing and although it sounds great, what about those who might not be up for a renewal? I'm sure Verizon will have an option to purchase the iPhone outright, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. I would have a hard time believing that users from other smartphones wanting to jump-ship, no-matter the cost wouldn't have this option.

If you're in this boat get ready to pay for it as the 16 gig iPhone 4 without a contract will probably run you about $599 and the 32 gig in the neighborhood of about $699.

Unfortunately, retail price is not mentioned, but this is from Verizon's FAQ:

Do I need to sign up for a 2 year agreement?
When purchasing iPhone at the 2 year promotional price a new agreement is required. However, you will also have the option to purchase iPhone at full retail price, which will not require you to sign a long-term agreement.
