Unable to connect

I have an iphone 5 with 6.1 that is jailbroken with evasion. The problem I am having is that when I try to connect my phone to my tv it says " unable to connect". Is there anyone else having this issue? I am using oem cables and the adapter for connecting to the tv. This also happens with my iPad 3 that is jailbroken the same way.

Not sure you'll be able to get it to work. Apple forces you to use their official cables. There is a Cydia tweak called "Resupported 4" that lets you use unofficial cables but it requires a device with a 30-pin dock connector, so it won't work on your i5 or iPad3.
