I have just inherited a 3gs (from 3g) and have firmware 05.16.05
When I compose a test message I have to choose the contacts to send it to first then compose the message. On my older phone I could compose the message then choose who to send it to.
If I skip down to write the message the blue cross in the to: line disappears. If I tap on the To: line the blue cross does not reappear.
I prefer composing messages before adding who to send them to. Have I messed up in my settngs? Contacts? Messages?
In seetings messages I have imessage OFF
