sudden pop-up to "enter password for ***@gmail" in settings on my iphone...

I'm not too tech savy, so forgive my newb question:
I'm suddenly getting a pop-up on my Iphone S5: "Enter the Google password for (my email address)" in Settings...
I haven't changed any setting on my phone and am concerned it might be a hack?...

I get a similar pop up for my yahoo account. I never sign in from the pop up and just ignore it.

Funny you mention that, l had something similar this morning from Google. To confirm that l have added another iPhone to my setup. And if l wanted to use it to sync photos etc. I ignored it then realised my iPhone 5s was connected to wlan and data. Normally l don't have a sim in it.
