SIM card contacts import doesn't work

Hi everyone,

I am trying to import/copy my contacts from SIM card to my iPhone 7 plus, however, for some unknown reasons it takes too long to happen (can't import). This brings me to ask whether any one of you might have encountered such hiccup? How should I get around this?

As far as I'm aware, contacts are held on the phone itself, not on the SIM.

The normal way to set up a new phone is to make a backup of the old one and then set up the new one from the backup.

If you are moving from Android to iOS, there is an app available in the Android store to move your Android data to iPhone.

And make sure to have it running on your Android, as they need to communicate together.

The app is only available for Android devices. Instructions in the Android app will tell you how to transfer your data to an iOS device.
