I have to send the photos to my phone by email because for some reason they don't stream to my phone.
Could that be making a difference?

Yes .....the size changes. Save from your iPhone to your camera roll

In Camera roll the thumbnail photo is checked if I touch it but I don't get the option lower left to save image.
