Rumour: iPhone 8 to Have Mirror-Like Casing Option

Renowned leaker Benjamin Geskin continues to frequently leak iPhone details, with his most recent leak being the rumour passed onto him by one of his sources that there will be just four colour options for Apple’s forthcoming OLED iPhone 8, with one of those being a new mirror-like option. Geskin did not mention what the other remaining colour options might be.

In order to illustrate what this new option might look like, Geskin tweeted pictures of an older iPhone in a reflective case, and it’s fair to say that it looks very smart! Apple has used mirrored surfaces several times before for its products, including iPods

And while Geskin provided no verification for his claims, MacRumors points out that noted KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated earlier this month that the OLED iPhone 8 could be available in limited “boutique” colour options, so this could be a popular new choice for consumers.
