Hi,
I'll be selling my old iPhone 4 to my friend. What's the best way to erase all of my data, settings, etc, inside the iPhone, but at the same time, ensure that it is still jailbroken? Would that be to do a full restore to factory settings, set up the phone as a new iPhone and jailbreak it again? I tried running an i.LEX RAT full restore on the phone, but i.LEX RAT does not seem to be working on the iPhone 4. The app crashes every time I try to restore the phone. According to the version of i.LEX RAT I had downloaded, it is supposed to be compatible with iOS7. The phone is running on iOS 7.0.4.
So far, I have already done a full DFU restore on the phone, but if I set it up again (as a new iPhone), would that put all my personal data back into the phone for my friend to access when she receives the phone?
Do let me know! And thanks again for your help in advance!
