We might not think of it in this way, but the iPhone is considered to be one of the more premium gadgets on the market. And where there are premium products going for a high price, you're bound to find a knock-off somewhere in the midst.

Police in Beijing busted a knock-off iPhone operation during a raid on May 14. The factory which produced the Apple knock-offs apparently manufactured more than 41,000 generic iPhone devices.

The raid ended with eleven arrests, including a married couple said to be the head of the operation. The report claims that the amount of fake iPhones produced and shipped by the production line had an estimated value for $19 million USD.

So far no additional information on the investigation could be found by Reuters. Although the factory reportedly hired "hundreds" of workers to produce the devices.
