Not authorized for your phone

today, i got a message saying this accesory is not authorized on your phone. and now, my volume doesnt work unless i plug my phone up into my computer. how do i fix it ???

Had you try rebooting the phone? Hold on/off button till you see "slide to turn off" and do so. After a few seconds turn it back on.
