Why can people hear me when I use face time from iPad but cannot hear me from iPhone even though we see each other and I hear them?

Do it happens only with FaceTime?

I resolved the problem for some reason the auto connect to my home wifi was not working so with out the connection face time will not work. Thanks for all responses.
