New iphone from droid.. questions before activating

MY iphone comes in tom and i used my fiances upgrade to get rid of my droid so she could use it..

Now can i just activate it like normal.. or do i have to activate it on her number than switch to mine...

and does doing this get rid of the 1 year warrenty?

Are you with Verizon? And did you order over the phone? Are you and her on same plan? If so did u tell the sales rep you wanted to use her upgrade for your line? If you did then when the phone comes you will activate thru iTunes on your pc and the phone will be programmed to activate on your number not hers. Because I did the same thing .... Used another upgrade from another line for my iPhone 4..... Enjoy! 
