My wife has a case very similar to that with the stones and such. The only downside to it is that it is a VERY thick case with hard plastic inside. Make sure you have rear glass protection. I cut a piece of fabric to fit inside the back to keep the glass from getting scratched.
The other downside is that hers is really thick and as such, there is quite a fat lip around the screen making it harder to touch things on the very edge of the screen, particularly portrait keyboard. Is yours this way?
