my iphone won't turn on

i've only had my iphone 4 for about a month and have never dropped it but i came inside and pulled my phone out of my pocket and it was off, now i can't get it to turn back on!

plug it in and let it charge for a while.

Or plug it to a computer and keave it there alone for a while.

Try a reset. Close all apps then - Hold down the HOME, bottom button, and the SLEEP, top button, for about 10 seconds until the Apple icon appears, then release buttons. Allow it to reboot, it may take a few minutes, don't panic like I did, wait for it to reboot. Cures many weird problems on iOS devices.

thank you, i tried holding both buttons down and that seemed to work. I did plug it in for a while but that didn't work, still not sure why it shut off on me though. Thanks everyone for your help.
