low memory ,hardly anything on it though ?

hi all, i just bought a 4s 16gb and just went to put a film on it and was shocked to see i didnt have enough memory, i have 263 songs one video 2gb and 27 pics and 46 apps 2 of which are a gig each , maybe im just forgetting how much it all adds up to but im sure my iphone 4 had more space, any ideas?
just seen it has 2gb of other , whats this ?
