Not sure if its the cable or not as it feels a bit flimsy though official, charges by usb ok and lets me use the hard drive space as normal but when I enable personal hotspot nothing happens.
It was working for a few weeks then stopped, tried different sims on it with same problem.
It is a 3GS updated to lpad firmware then downgraded to enable me to unlock it.
Not sure if its related but the wi fi is suddenly having issues too, it works if I am using a secured network but any unsecured public ones that want you to log in via web page do not work, it just says that Safari is not connected to the internet, I have tried bookmarking the login page and no luck also tried forgetting network and same.
16gb on UK Orange network but unlocked with 3 sim.
