Laggy springboard

Springboard became laggy after winterboard installation ...after google the issue..found out that by installing BAREL could get rid of the problem..and that is true..but is there another way without having to have BAREL installed

what theme do you use?

Dezire hd is the theme ... Jailbreak 5.0.1 unthered iPhone 4..

Could be the theme.. try a different one, I am on the same firmware and device as you and I get no lagging from winterboard..

but Barrel is a very good tweak that is worth getting

No matter what I do ...without barel and without any theme...the scrolling's laggy..and every time that I install anything form cydia three white icons appear every time..and they go away after respring

Sounds like something was corrupt during the Jailbreak process. Have you tried a fresh restore via iTunes and re-Jailbreaking w/ redsn0w?

Believe me I understand. However, if you have a "laggy" springboard that doesn't seem to go away and these ghost icons that appear then disappear after a respring... chances are it's only going to get worse.
