Jailbroken Iphone 3gs stuck on connect to itunes screen

I have a Iphone 3GS, didn't know it was jailbroken and i updated it using itunes today. Nooooow it won't let me do anything. I'm stuck on the connect to itunes with the usb cord. I have literally tried everything! Someone help?

hi you may have to restore the phone to factory setting using itunnes restore!!

If you restore your phone with iTunes it will update to the latest IOS? If your phone was unlocked you will find it is then locked to the original carrier. I had the same problem with my 3GS but have it jail broken and unlocked again. If you find yourself in this situation I can explain how I got my phone back from brick status. It did involve, until there is a fix, the loss of GPS. All other features work fine.
