Is it possible to make a scratch on screen from fall of keys?

Hi everyone! I'm a new a member here

. I was wondering , yesterday when I was going to put the keys to start the car my keys fell off on my iphone 4s screen from about 50cm height . After checking the screen I noticed a small scratch which is visible when the phone is off and visible a rainbow line when is on, like it has water on it the same effect but it doesn't leave . I was wondering, is it possible that this fall would cause that? I'm not using a screen protector which now I regret for not doing that. Is it possible to remove it with scratch removers ?

It's possible. It could cause a crack upon impact, possibly on the inside. Particularly if it was the car keys that fell on it, it will more than likely result in a scratch or impact damage of some sort.

In addition... I would NOT recommend using any type of scratch remover on the screen of your iPhone. Nor would I recommend using it on the screen of any smartphone.

Scratches are going to happen...PERIOD. I highly suggest investing in a "quality" screen protector. I use Zagg Invisible Shield HD (front and back), and somehow the dings and scratches mend themselves.
