iphone5 wont play songs on car stereo

Hello

my partners iphone 4s connects to my stereo in the car (plays fine).
i brought an adaptor (32pin>8pin) but the songs i purchased are not playing like my partners do.

is there anything i can do to get this to work? rather annoying as i only purchased the songs as i thought theyd play!

apparently this one does not support audio.

anyone know which one i will need for audio support?

that would be very useful! i basically need an adaptor that converts 32pin>8pin but also has capabilities to play audio through it.

for anyone that is interested i got this to work by using my AUX cable as my stereo has an aux in socket.
i have to set up a playlist on my phone though as i can only skip tracks using the hand set. obviously not ideal for driving but not too bothered as i like all my songs currently!

That stinks you couldn't get the USB to work. It does make it easier. Was your Adapter An apple brand? Or after market.
