Iphone5 charger

will the iphone5 electric charger work with the ipod shuffle to charge it? just the cube looking part that plugs into the wall is what I am speaking of. I know I can plug the usb from the ipod shuffle into it, but will it work to charge the ipod? hope I am explaining this so you understand what I am speaking of.
also we are going to cuba and will the power there be sufficient to charge or do I need a special adaptor?

The adapter head for iOS devices are universal. The only dependent component is the USB to 30-pin or USB to lightning.

You can charge iPads with the iPhone adapters, just that they'll take a little longer to charge as they're 1A rather than the 2A that comes with the full size iPads and the new Mini. The old Mini comes with the same one as the iPhone.

This being my first iphone, I was truly suprised how short of a time it took the the iphone to charge with the stock charger. Impressive
