how do you get Iphone to vibrate when someone texts you?

Go to settings> sounds> there u activate the vibration. There are 2 vibrate settings in the sounds page, silent vibrate at the very top and another vibrate for SMS and incoming calls, that the one you set to on.

Do I need to turn the silent vibrate off? Inst there a auto silent thing that makes Iphone vibrate when someone texts you?
Silense/Vibrate switch off will allow SMS to vibrate when the come to your phone, when it's on, it will play a new message tone and also vibrate, but you have to have the vibrate setting on in system> sound/ page.

okay. So I am on the sounds page and the Silent Vibrate is set to OFF and the other vibrate is sett to ON.My Ringtone is set to Time Passing and my Text Tone is set to None. The switch in the top left corner is set to orange. should my Iphone vibrate when someone texts me now?
