iPhone 4S - Jailbreaking and Unlocking - Modem: 3.0.04

So I'm trying to jailbreak my friends iPhone, the idiot updated against my advice from 5.1.1 to iOS 6.0.

That means that I'm having a hell of a run trying to find a solution.

My questioning is - is it possible to jailbreak the iOS 6 for his phone, tethered or not.

There's really no jailbreak only a developing jailbreak it's unstable so it's better for u to wait until they come out with one

i have the same exact problem. my question is. can i have my phone unlocked to use with any carrier. i have a sprint iPh 4s

An iPhone 4S on iOS 6 cannot be Jailbroken or Unlocked in any way, by an end user, at this time. The only option for unlocking a 4S on iOS 6 is to have it unlocked by your wireless provider.
