iOS7 and google calendar

My iPhone 4S has updated to iOS7. I use Google calendar which syncs info fine from Mac and husbands phone and computer but data entered on phone does not sync across. Please advise what Inshould do

Try Settings/mail contacts calendars.
Make sure your google acct is there.
If not, register it and make sure sync calendars is on.

Tried all that. Google acct is there and phone syncs fine with data from Mac but not the other way
