Have you ever driven by a roadside historic marker and wonder "What did that sign say???". With the Georeader app, you can finally learn what it is about. The app reads aloud to you historical markers right as you drive by them. Also contains info about historical bridges, towns, and even UFO sightings all to hear at the spot where they happened. Includes all the roadside historical markers of many U.S. states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas Michigan, Virginia, Georgia, Oregon just to name a few) plus thousands and thousands more historic locations over the USA and the world. Plus you can make you own Talking Points™ to add to the database and share with the world your knowledge about local landmarks and events or anything else that you find interesting. Promote your area! Tell something about your town or any place in the world for everyone to hear. If you want to make a driving tour of your town you can! It is so easy. Designed to work hands and eyes free for safer travel. Awesome for road trips. While there are many apps designed for use at your destination; Georeader is designed for use while you are getting there. Please tell your friends who love history that this is the app for them. It's only $2.99. Also on Android where it has the highest number of downloads of any history focused app of its kind on Goggle Play. The iphone version now has even more features. Go to website at *** Removal of External Link per Forum Rules *** for more info, FAQs, and hints such as: Getting a good car charger is encouraged so you can drive along for long periods. Thanks for looking. Dave

Mark Cuban said he liked my app. That made my day :)

My app is now going to be used by the Route 20 association in NY as the world's longest guided tour. This stretch of route 20 is located between Albany and south of Syracuse NY (Lafayette) . It is the classic "side road" that was bypassed by the NYS thruway. It goes though many small towns, and has many remaining vestiges of an earlier time when it was the main highway. It is now a beautiful scenic byway. As this road is more about the journey, rather than getting their quickly, being able to hear stories about what has happened along its way will be a nice feature the app will be able to provide.
