I'm needing help with restoring my iPhone 4. Is running 6.0.1 tethered. So if restore my iPhone. That means I'm turning it off but when you turn it off then you have to tether boot the iPhone. How am I suppose to restore my iPhone? :(

When you're doing a restore... you turn it off then enter DFU or pwned DFU mode. You don't have to worry about turning back on after that... it'll be in DFU mode and you'll restore via which ever method you choose.

So I have to restore in dfu so I don't have to just boot doesn't make sense

You're using the word "restore." Are you wishing to restore your iPhone 4 to iOS 6.0.1... then re-Jailbreak? Or... are you wanting to know how to "Just Boot" your iPhone back to it's Jailbroken state after being powered off?

Restoring back to 6.0.1 but I don't understand that if I shut the phone off to do the restore I have to do a just boot to power the phone on.

If you're restoring a tethered jailbreak, there's no need to just boot it at any point since you'll he in DFU mode
