GPS overseas

Hi,

I'm going to be going to Europe in about a month for vacation... And I was wondering if I set my phone on airplane mode (or if there's another mode to keep ANY roaming charges from incurring)....

Will the GPS work? Say, if I install TomTom Europe, would I be able to use the europe tomtom? Thanks!

Turn off 3G and GPRS. Nav apps will only fly if you have offline maps. GPS works anywhere.


Look for local SIM when u arrive.
