fixed 1 problem , now ran into another , please help

i fixed the charging issues in my iphone 4 , i replaced the battery and got a new charger . the phone now charges just fine . only thing is that now when i ring people i can hear them but they cant hear me . is it possible to dislodge/loosen the mic when changing a battery? odd thing is it works fine on speakerphone

Anything is possible, i would open it back up and see if you might have pinched a wire or disconnected one while doing the swap.

i have since been told ny the mate i got it off that his little girl managed to get melted cadburys creme egg in it , so i guess that kind of solves the mic mystery!! . i can get a new 1 fitted cheapely enough tho so no big deal il just get a new mic put in and hey presto problem solved .
