Why is it when I use FaceTime - I end up calling people from a strange number - not my usual number

In uae (united arab emirates) etisalat, du carrier not providing facetime call till now. How can i get it?

Thats news to me, i had no clue it had a different number. I would have thought an ip address at the most.

I can't wait now for FaceTime lol and than November I'll give my husband the iPhone 4 and use the 5 I'm sure it'll have FaceTime!!
