Iphone 4 FaceTime not working

I just bought the new iphone 4 and i was really looking forward to using facetime, however, it is not working on my phone, i got the latest update (4.2),
i tried restoring it, when i when to Settings<Phone i could not find the facetime option and it was not on my contact options. (look at pics below)

You must First enable FaceTime as it is disabled as factory default setting.
General settings-->Phone ( as you did ). But you do not have any FaceTime switch .... very strange.
But why under "My number" (second pics) there's "unknown"? My iPhone shows my mobile number there! Is your SIM working ?

Remember that you must connect to the Net using a Wifi connection ONLY as FaceTime works if both of you are under a Wifi LAN.

Try Fringe if you want a different approach.

Your carrier may not support FaceTime or it may be restricted in your area. I would give your provider a call and ask them.

Tango is a much better alternative...

If you look at the attachments it's not there for it to be enabled...

no I think the sim card is in. As you can see in the first picture the phone is getting signal. I'm not 100% sure but it might be the carrier.
