Casio G'zOne Rock™ text to Iphone

Hello All -

Here's my problem, my boyfriend has a 'dumb' phone the Casio G'zOne Rock and I have the iPhone 4S. When I text him, the text comes thru just fine, however, when he replies it comes backs to me as gibberish. Here's an example - a¡£ØÅ¿sZB2YÖ<ß

Any clue, anyone? This problem is VERY frustrating!

Really strange, it seems like the iPhone doesn't support some old devices input codes... But how could that even be possible??? Tell your bf to get a decent smart phone.
