I bought the iPhone 3G S 2 months ago. I think it has 8 GB of memory. Suddenly, the camera stopped working; even the Camera Roll doesn't work. I took a little over 2,000 photos. Is it possible that I reached the maximum memory? Why doesn't a message appear saying that? Since I take lots of photos, I should have got a phone that accepts a memory card. Apple was very clever as usual, selling phones with 8, 16 and 32 GB and charging a great deal more for the increased srtorage memory. Other than the camera portion, the phone works although getting online is very slow.

Wow 2000?! All those photos could take up around 5-6gb. So if you've got other media on your phone I can see it being full.

Plug your phone into iTunes and choose it from the menu and it will tell you exactly how much space your photos are taking up and how much space you've got (or not got) left on your phone...

Maybe there's an app that can tell you how much memory your using etc? If not there's a gap in the market
